Elaine will walk us through the evolution of the harp, from early civilization to the modern day concert grand pedal harp. This will include how the instrument has taken form in various cultures around the world, and how it got its name. Elaine will perform French harp music to demonstrate some techniques and styles uniquely characteristic of harp music. You'll walk away with a new appreciation for this instrument!
