Work along with Charlie Brouwer in his mountain top workshop during this very special educational event. Charlie Brouwer is the first Featured Artist of The Jacksonville Center for the Arts. Along with leading the Floyd Art Discussion, he is also opening up his studio to work with no more than 10 lucky students for this class. You will be guided by Charlie to plan, design and create your own constructed wood sculptures inspired by your personally experiences. While in the studio you will be surrounded by Charlie's work, but don't miss out on hiking around the property to view the "Out There" outdoor sculpture gallery. You will be using hand and electric wood working tools, but are encouraged to bring your own tools as well.
